NJ is now under State of Emergency,declared by the government official.
According to news, since week end a series of snow storms bombarded the major cities of the state. NJ is currently facing the problems on road and air ways.
The Acting Governor of New Jersey State Senate President Steve Sweeney declared a State of Emergency Sunday night. Since Governor Chris Christie and Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno are out of state, State Senate President Steve Sweeney fills in the state's highest position.
Meanwhile, The City of Elizabeth, Union County, had seen more than 11 inches of snow by 18 pm on Sunday. The bus service has been stopped by the NJ Transit after 6:30PM.
Due to the problem arises, the airport New York JFK and Newark Liberty International Airport were even forced to close. JFK was not expected to reopen at 5 am Monday. Also the Newark airport would remain closed until 10 o’clock.
