But even Selena Gomez admits to feeling insecure and pressured to conform in Hollywood.



The 19-year-old Disney beauty talked candidly to Glamour magazine about how she deals with being a young celebrity while modelling the fall's hottest beauty trends.

When asked by the magazine if it is hard being young and a Hollywood star, the actress responded: 'Yeah, you have this pressure [to fit in] and you want people to like you. I try my best to be a good person and be the best I can be.'



She takes inspiration from her peers, and become close with her recent Monte Carlo co-stars Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy.



'I was nervous and intimidated because they are older and had worked on movies before, but they were the best girls I could have been paired up with! They were so sweet and took me under their wing.'

Selena's platinum selling song Who Says, off her new album, contains the lyrics 'Who says you're not star potential?' and the actress admits that she can relate to that having been told that on several occasions.



'I’m 19, so I feel like everything that I’m doing right now should not be taken too seriously. I should be able to have fun and enjoy where I’m at! So I don’t want to spend my time hiding or worrying about all of that.'



Yet the star has been threatened, on several occasions by hardcore Bieber fans.



'Yeah, I’m human, so of course certain things sometimes hurt. I just laugh at it,' she says.

Her album is riding high in the U.S. billboard charts and she has just embarked on a series of concerts throughout the U.S.

So it's not surprising that Selena Gomez needed to take some time out for some much needed relaxation today.

The 19-year-old singer and actress was spotted letting her hair down at Universal Studios in Orlando Florida with a group of friends.

The star had her hands in the air and laughed with delight as she took a ride through the islands of adventure in the popular resort.

With her hair up in a pontytail, the star blended in to the crowd of holidaymakers in a casual beige T-shirt and a pair of flowery shorts.

Her outfit was a far cry from the more glitzy outfits she sported on the first night of her tour.

The 19-year-old singer donned a Vegas showgirl-style sequinned dress for the We Own the Night show, complete with sequinned corseted top and tasselled train.

She also wore some distinctly glamorous blue dresses, one of which featured a blue sequinned top.

But Selena's fans certainly looked happy enough as the singer strutted her stuff on the stage at the Mizner Park Ampitheater and belted out some of her most famous songs.

There was no sign of Selena's boyfriend Justin Bieber today, although he did sneak backstage to watch her perform in Florida the night before.

The superstar also made a surprise appearance during his girlfriend's début concert last week, but preferred to keep a low profile last night as he supported her on tour.

Justin watched from backstage with his friend, singer Sean Kingston, before darting out the back door before he could be spotted by the exuberant audience.

The 19-year-old singer donned a Vegas showgirl-style sequinned dress for the We Own the Night show, but didn't quite manage to pull it off, and appeared old before her time in the outfit.

The plunging gown featured a sequinned corseted top and tasseled train, and is really aimed at women a few years older than Selena.

When he surprised Selena onstage last week he gave her a big hug to cheers from the audience, before singing an acoustic version of Justin Timberlake's hit song Cry Me A River and also performed his own hit, Favourite Girl.

Following the show, proud Justin later tweeted to his fans: 'Had a #greatnight and surprised the people. felt good to be on stage. nothing is changing that. #REAL. @selenagomez u did great tonight. proud of u.'

On Sunday night Selena was joined by her boyfriend on stage as she performed in The teen Costa Mesta, California.

The actress was treated to a shopping spree at one of Disneyland's many merchandise stores by her boyfriend of six months, Justin Bieber.

The couple browsed the store picking up an array of items before spending several hours in the theme park itself.

Selena looked casual in cut off jeans and a cream coloured T-shirt which she paired with simple white sneakers.

And it seems that the Canadian singer wasn't just content with mingling with elite athletes but wanted to look like a professional too - sporting a racing driver jumpsuit as he took to the stage to present an award.

He added: 'we are a family....never say never. DREAM BIG!!!!
