Gmail Alert : You wrote "attached file"!

How smart is your email program? Automatically adds contact? Suggests a random email subjects? Does have chat feature? Or Voice Call? Drag and Drop attachment?

Well, I'm not really sure if Gmail's alert feature is something new or has been around quite a long time.

Earlier, I was replying an email to a friend and I mentioned that I have "attached file" which I sent before the email I am about to reply. After clicking Send, I was prompted with "Did you mean to attach files?", "You wrote "attached files" in your message, but there are no files attached. Send anyway?

At first I thought I've attached a new file and failed but I realized I'm not attaching a file again and so I clicked the Send button again. Then, I was prompted with the message I mentioned above and at that moment I read everything the message said. After reading it I was amazed again with Gmail's features. It's really that simple feature but something that is very functional for regular email users who always mentioned "attached file/s".

So, next time you use your Gmail be sure to try this feature.

Gmail login? Gmail game

Well, I'm not really into hardcore gaming but cards and other simple game, I'm so into it. I've just visited Gmail blog today and look for some interesting posts. Though we (Gmail users) all know that Priority Inbox Beta is now available to our Gmail as soon as we login. Go ahead check it now by visiting your Gmail login.

Let's continue with the fun stuff with the Gmail game. It isn't about playing about Inbox, Spams, Contacts, Login and other mail related but a Gmail inspired shooting game. Check out the screen below.

See my score? It's already 5800 (not a score for bragging though). It's like a Galaxy game played by 80's kid like me in a Family Computer back then but only this time, the lead character is a Gmail icon.

Google Voice : Gmail's latest feature

Amazed with Gmail's latest feature dubbed as Google Voice. Just checked my email today and noticed an icon of a phone handset [see screenshot].

I immediately clicked the icon and have a similar chat window at the bottom part of the mail, similar to Google Chat.

The feature requires you to download a plugin enable to start using it.

Google Voice is not just for PC-to-PC call, in fact it is for international landlines and mobile phones.
