While there is no information when the photos were taken, words are spreading that her family has taken action to settle the embarrassing pics. "The whole family is furious at what they see as a betrayal," says a friend of the Middletons.
They believe that the photos were taken by Pippa's friends and were sold for substantial amount of money to photographic agencies. In fact, they have stopped the photos' circulation by putting the pressure on photographers who own the copyright.
"The images were withdrawn from the entire market," says John Camarillo, of Zuma Press, an American picture agency. "They were only on the market for a few days. They got too popular and that's why they were withdrawn."
